How To Care For Your PhoneSpud
- Spot clean your Spud, unless it truly needs a deep clean
- If its nasty and needs to go into the washing machine, first remove the clear vinyl window
- Wash on gentle cycle in cold water
- Dry on low heat with the zippered pocket open, and be sure no tissues, glasses, earbuds or anything inside
- Once dry, reattach the clear window, and you are good to go
- The vinyl piece is replaceable, so if you forget and accidentally wash the clear piece, we can send you a replacement (It's FREE!)
PROTIP: Use a tissue or a gentle cloth to wipe the clear screen inside and out periodically (as you would your phone screen)
Shipping & Returns
- PhoneSpuds are shipped out of Redondo Beach, California
- Shipping takes between 5-7 business days from the time of your order
- You may return your PhoneSpud any time within 30 days of receiving it, for any reason
- To request a return, send a message via the contact form on the website & we wil send you a prepaid shipping label
- We GUARANTEE you'll be happy with your PhoneSpud, but if not, return your Spud, and we will send you a FREE BAG of potato chips - because YUM!
Safe to Use with Power Bank?
It is safe to use a power bank inside your PhoneSpud.
- A power bank is a battery; it doesn't have the same "juice" as charging from an outlet. (think direct current vs battery)
- This is like charging from a power bank that is in your bag or purse.
- The power bank is NOT sewn into the pillow. It's a removable 10,000 mAh battery pack.
- In rare circumstances, a faulty component inside a power bank can cause overheating. If that's the case, it will overheat anywhere that it is, regardless of if it's in a PhoneSpud or not.
Where is PhoneSpuds located?
PhoneSpuds Headquarters is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Founder & CEO, Kim Diamond lives there with her family, Chris and Charlotte.
The couple has roots in Baltimore, MD, Washington, D.C., and Colorado Springs, CO.
Where are PhoneSpuds made?
Our manufacturing partner is in China.
